More New Spring Earrings

Everyone looks forward to spring and seeing all the flowers, blossoms, and new leaves on the trees. So of course, artists are inspired to express their passion for the beauty that is seen this time of year. Here are some earrings that express my delight in seeing all the colors in nature this spring. Look for these and other nature inspi

red designs at upcoming shows.

Spring has arrived!

"Flute"
This season it`s all about delicious texture to stir the imagination. Of course shapes, angles, and beautiful stones are also important. Here are some pieces that I`ve been working on and that you will see at some art shows coming up. Please feel free to email any questions about my work or upcoming shows to geometals@aol.com

Luscious Amber

People are always fascinated by amber and look for the rare and unusual qualities of this stone (actually it`s a petrified tree resin). When I choose pieces to work with, the more flecks and "stuff" in it, the better. So here is a pin/pendant piece featuring green amber at the top and honey amber at the bottom. The piece is called "Solstice" and it combines stamped textures, shapes, metals, and of course, gorgeous amberAdd Image. Click the image to see the flecks up close.

Pin/pendant pieces

The first piece below is a stamped free form design with black onyx, pearl, and smokey grey mother of pearl. The one in the middle has a gorgeous ryolite (not available anymore) and jade. The piece on the right called "Tree" is another free form design that combines both texture, shape, and wire wrapping.  Notice how the intense colors in the art glass really make this piece stand out. Scroll down to see more goodies.
