Textured Mosaics

The ceramic tiles that make up this mosaic are all my handmade pieces. Added to this piece of eye candy art are stones, pearls, and iridescent glass. It measures 6 inches wide by 16 inches long. As you can see from all of the posts on this site, texture and rich colors are a constant theme of my work. Wanting to combine an array of textures, I`ve decided to do some wall art pieces. Say, what time is it?

 

This clock has an oak base with a black lacquer finish. The use of green and blue patinas over copper and brass really make the contrasts pop. Plus, the quartz movement keeps precise time. This design is called "All in good time"
